Comcast Renewal Proposal Set For Public Hearing In Manchester
Manchester officials will be seeking public comment in May on Comcast's application to renew its municipal agreement. Mark your calendar.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township officials have scheduled a public hearing for May on a request by Comcast to renew its municipal agreement with the township.
The hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. on May 8 in the courtroom at Manchester Township's town hall.
Copies of the application can be reviewed in the township clerk's office at town hall, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Here is the official notice about the hearing; the township said the notice will be published again between 7 and 14 days before the hearing:
"PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Manchester will hold a municipal consent hearing on 8th day of May 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Manchester Township Court Room at Town Hall.

This hearing will be held for the purpose of evaluating the application of Comcast of New Jersey, LLC for the renewal of its municipal consent to own, operate, extend, and maintain a cable television and cable communications system in the Township of Manchester and is held in accordance with N.J.S.A. 48:5A-23, and N.J.A.C. 14:18-11.6, and all other applicable statutory and regulatory provisions.
All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard with respect to this application. Copies of the application will be on file with the Manchester Township Clerk and can be reviewed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. at the Manchester Township Hall.
This notice will be published again between the fourteenth (14th) and seventh (7th) day prior to the hearing."
