Commercial Fire In Manchester Briefly Threatens Mobile Homes
The fire at a business property on Route 37 briefly prompted evacuations, police said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A fire at a commercial property on Route 37 in Manchester prompted a brief call for evacuations in the Pine Acres Manor mobile home park on Friday.
The fire, at 1745 Route 37, prompted Manchester police to send alerts about 4:20 p.m. urging residents to evacuate from their homes. But a follow-up alert about 4:30 p.m. canceled the evacuation order.
Capt. James Komsa said the evacuation order was canceled because the wind shifted and was blowing away from the direction of the mobile home park.
