Council Set To Bar Short-Term Rentals In Manchester: Monday Manual
The Ocean County Fair is set to return this week.

MANCHESTER, NJ— Welcome to the July 11 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight events coming up during the week in the Manchester area.
The Township Council is set to meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the municipal building, 1 Colonial Drive. On the agenda is the second reading of an ordinance that will bar short-term rentals within the township.
Short-term rentals by owner, such as through AirBnB and VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner) have become popular ways to fill vacation properties year-round.

Manchester's ordinance would bar any rentals of fewer than 30 days.
The Ocean County Fair returns beginning Wednesday at Robert J. Miller Airpark, Route 530 in Berkeley Township. There are 4-H animals and displays, rides, vendors, food and entertainment.
