Crash Closes Route 571 In Toms River, Manchester: Authorities
Route 571 is expected to be closed for several hours, authorities said.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Route 571 is closed Tuesday morning between Commonwealth Boulevard in Manchester and Whitesville Road in Toms River because of a crash, authorities said.
The Ocean County Sheriff's Office first issued an alert about the crash saying it was in the area of Whitesville Road and Route 571, on the Toms River-Manchester border.
Manchester police said the closure on Route 571 starts at Commonwealth Boulevard, and said the closure is expected to last several hours.

Toms River police also issued an alert about the closure, urging motorists to stay away.
Ocean County Scanner News reported the crash involves multiple vehicles. Additional details were not immediately available.
