Crash Disrupting Traffic On Route 539: Manchester Police

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township police are asking motorists to avoid Route 539 in Manchester Township from Route 72 to Lincoln Boulevard due to a motor vehicle crash.

Police did not release details on the crash in the Nixle alert issued shortly before 4 p.m. In a second alert shortly after 5 p.m. Manchester police said Route 539 will be disrupted for the next several hours as a result of a subsequent crash, Manchester Capt. Todd Malland confirmed.

The alerts did not say the road is closed but anyone who is traveling in the area is asked to seek alternate routes.
