Delayed Opening For Manchester Schools On Wednesday: See Start Times
With frigid temperatures and below-zero wind chills possible, Manchester schools will have a delayed opening.
MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township School District will have a 90-minute delayed opening on Wednesday, the district announced.
"Due to ongoing icy conditions following the weekend's storm, all schools will operate on a 90-minute delayed opening Wednesday, January 28, to allow for safe travel for students and staff," the district said.
The announcement comes as the area remains under a cold weather advisory, with temperatures well below freezing and wind chills anticipated to be below zero, according to the National Weather Service.
