Downed Tree Knocks Out Power To Holly Oaks, Renaissance In Manchester
The traffic signal on Route 70 nearby is affected as well, Manchester police said.
MANCHESTER, NJ — A downed tree has knocked out power to more than 1,600 homes in the Holly Oaks and Renaissance areas of Manchester on Friday evening, police said.
Manchester police said the outage is affecting the traffic signal at Route 70 and Green Acres Road, at the Ocean County Landfill.
The Jersey Central Power & Light website estimates power will be restored by 10:30 p.m.
