Drunken Driver Arrested At McDonald's: Lakehurst Police Blotter

Lakehurst police released a list of arrests that happened in September.

LAKEHURST, NJ — A driver who stopped at McDonald's for a snack was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated, one of three drivers charged with drunken driving in September in Lakehurst, police said.

The Lakehurst Police Department released the following arrests that were made in September:

Sept. 1: Police Officer Jacob Schilling conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 70. The passenger of the vehicle, a 31-year-old woman, was arrested on a charge of possession of crack cocaine after an on-scene investigation. The woman was taken to police headquarters and later released. Arresting Officer: Police Officer Jacob Schilling

Sept. 3: Officers responded to a Union Avenue home for a disturbance. A 24-year-old man was arrested on a charge of simple assault and an active criminal warrant. He was taken to police headquarters and later transferred to the Ocean County Jail. Arresting Officer: Police Officer Gavin Cecchini

Sept. 3: Police Officer Jacob Schilling conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 70. The driver, a 61-year-old man, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was taken to police headquarters and later released to a responsible adult. Arresting Officer: Police Officer Jacob Schilling

Sept. 3: Officers responded to the Lakehurst Circle for a crash and the driver, a 40-year-old man, was found to have two active criminal warrants. He was arrested and taken to the Ocean County Jail. Arresting Officer: Police Officer Michael Sullivan

Sept. 9: Police Officer Gavin Cecchini conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 70. The driver, a 29-year-old man, was found to have an active traffic warrant. He was arrested and taken to police headquarters, and later released. Arresting Officer: Police Officer Gavin Cecchini

Sept. 11: Police Officer Jacob Schilling investigated a report of a suspicious person at Lake Horicon. The person, a 33-year-old man, was found to have an active criminal warrant and was arrested and taken to the Ocean County Jail. Arresting Officer: Police Officer Jacob Schilling

Sept. 16: Officers responded to the Dollar General for a shoplifting incident. The on-scene investigation led to the arrest of a 45-year-old woman on a shoplifting charge. She was taken to police headquarters and later released. Arresting Officer: Police Officer William Bowers

Sept. 16: Officers responded to McDonald's for a report of an intoxicated driver in the drive-through of the restaurant. The on-scene investigation led to the arrest of a 43-year-old man on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was taken to police headquarters and later released to a responsible adult. Sept. 17: Police Officer Michael Sullivan conducted a traffic stop on Route 70. The driver, a 38-year-old man, was found to have numerous traffic warrants. He was arrested and taken to police headquarters and later released. Arresting Officer: Police Officer Michael Sullivan

Sept. 19: Officers responded to a Maple Street home for a disturbance. A 63-year-old man was arrested on charges of obstruction and harassment and a 48-year-old woman was charged with simple assault. Arresting Officer: Sgt. Jason Guide

Sept. 21: Officers responded to an Elm Street home for a disturbance. A 29-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of simple assault. She was taken to police headquarters and later released.

Sept. 23: Officers responded to a Cedar Street home and arrested a 56-year-old woman on a charge of criminal mischief. She was taken to police headquarters and later released. Arresting Officer: Police Officer Christian Hernandez

Sept. 27: Officers responded to a crash near the intersection of Route 70 and Lake Street. A 31-year-old man was taken to the hospital with to injuries and subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated. Arresting Officer: Police Officer William Bowers

Sept. 29: Officers responded to a Willow Street home for a disturbance. A 52-year-old man was arrested on a charge of criminal mischief. He was taken to police headquarters and later released. Arresting Officer: Police Officer Christian Hernandez
