DWI Arrests, Drug Charges: Lakehurst Police Blotter
Lakehurst police released arrests that happened during November.

LAKEHURST, NJ — Three people were charged with driving while under the influence and one was charged with leaving the scene of an accident in November, according to police blotter reports from the Lakehurst Police Department.
Police Officer Robert Schroeck said the following arrests were made:
NOV. 1: Darren A. Swido Jr, 35, of Bayville was arrested by Officer Grant Hofferica on a charge of shoplifting. Swido was issued a summons for the charge and released pending a mandatory court appearance.

NOV. 3: Elizabeth L. Michaelson, 25, of Lakehurst, was arrested by Sgt. Iain James on a charge of simple assault. Michaelson was issued a summons for the charge and released pending a mandatory court appearance.
NOV. 4: Samuel S. Urrea, 18, of Lakehurst, was arrested by Officer Jason Guide on a charge of lewdness. Urrea was issued a summons for the charge and released pending a mandatory court appearance.

NOV. 6: Holly A. Riley, 47, of Riverside, was arrested by Officer Jason Guide in connection with two warrants, from Evesham Township and Riverside Township municipal courts, for $1,500 and $500, respectively. She also was issued four motor vehicle summonses for driving while suspended, unlicensed, maintenance of lamps and failure to exhibit registration. Riley was released pending a mandatory court appearance.
NOV. 11: Amber E. Burke, 22, of Lakewood, was arrested by Officer Jason Guide on charges of possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia. She also was issued two motor vehicle summonses for failure to maintain lane and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Burke was taken to the Ocean County Jail where she was lodged pending a mandatory court appearance.
NOV. 12: John A. Frascella, 65, of Manchester, was arrested by Officer Harold Hester and charged with driving while under the influence. He also was issued four motor vehicle summonses for driving while under the influence, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and failure to yield. Frascella was released pending a mandatory court appearance.
NOV. 15: Edgar J. Algarin-Vazquez, 25, of Plumsted was arrested by Officer Grant Hofferica on charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and disorderly conduct, and he had a warrant from Hazlet Township Municipal Court for $1,000. He also was issued motor vehicle summonses for use of a cell phone while driving and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Vasquez was issued a summons for the charges and released pending a mandatory court appearance.
NOV. 15: David J. Caisaguano, 25, of Freehold, was arrested by Officer Grant Hofferica on a charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and had a warrant from Wall Township Municipal Court for $819. Caisaguano was issued a summons for the charge and released pending a mandatory court appearance.
NOV. 19: Brooks W. Page, 23, of Jackson, was arrested by Patrolman Arthur Cronk from the Manchester Police Department after it was discovered Page had been involved in a hit-and-run accident that happened in Lakehurst earlier in the evening. Cronk was able to locate the vehicle and charged Page with driving while under the influence. Officer Madelyn Waltz from the Lakehurst Police Department charged Page with assault by auto and issued him motor vehicle summonses for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and reckless driving. He was released pending a mandatory court appearance.
NOV. 22: Nelis Alexis Ortez-Mazariegos, 30, of Lakehurst, was arrested by Officer Harold Hester and charged with presenting a false auto insurance card to law enforcement. He also was issued motor vehicle summonses for unlicensed driver, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, uninsured motorist, unregistered vehicle, fictitious plates and careless driving. Mazariegos was issued a summons for the charge and released pending a mandatory court appearance.
NOV. 28: Thomas J. Duffell, 25, of Lakehurst, was arrested by Officer Madelyn Waltz on a charge of criminal mischief. Duffell was issued a summons for the charge and released pending a mandatory court appearance.
NOV. 29: Devinee N. Wood, 32, of Lakehurst, was arrested by Officer Robert Schroeck on a charge of simple assault. Wood was issued a summons for the charge and released pending a mandatory court appearance.
NOV. 29: Gilbert M. Carver, 50, of Toms River, was arrested by Officer William Bowers on charges of driving while under the influence and simple assault. He also was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while under the influence, reckless driving and unlicensed driver. Carver was issued a summons for the charge and released pending a mandatory court appearance.
