Eat, Laugh And Raise Funds For Lakehurst Fire Department

LAKEHURST, NJ — If you're looking for a date night or a night out but dinner and a movie doesn't seem to fit the bill, the Lakehurst Fire Department is hosting a comedy night to benefit the fire department.

Tickets for the Sept. 30 event are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and include appetizers, dinner, nonalcoholic drinks and three comedians, headlined by "Roundboy" Jimmy Graham. Also scheduled to appear are Tim Grill and Chris Kiley. The show is for adults only; you must be 21 to enter.

Applebee's in Manchester is supplying the food for the fundraiser. Beer and wine will be available for purchase as well.

The event begins at 7 p.m., with the comedy show starting at 8 p.m. at the Lakehurst Community Center, 207 Center St., Lakehurst.
