Ecstasy, Percocet, Marijuana Seized In Lakehurst Arrest

A Hoboken man is facing drug distribution charges; he was arrested on an active child support warrant, police said.

LAKEHURST, NJ — A Hoboken man is facing drug distribution charges after a motor vehicle stop and investigation turned up Percocet, Ecstasy and a large quantity of marijuana on Wednesday, Lakehurst police said.

Eric W. McNulty, 37, of Hoboken is being held at the Ocean County Jail, according to the Ocean County Corrections Department website.

Lakehurst Officer Jason Guide pulled over a 2015 Nissan that had its front windows tinted at about 2:45 p.m. in the area of Union Avenue and Orange Street and met with McNulty, said Police Officer Robert Schroeck, the department's spokesman.

The investigation led to a search of the car that turned up a large quantity of raw marijuana packaged for resale, unspecified quantities of Ecstasy pills, and Percocet pills, a scale and other drug paraphernalia.

McNulty additionally had an active Hudson County Superior Court warrant for his arrest in the amount of $4,182; the Ocean County Corrections website says the warrant is for failure to pay child support.

McNulty was charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of Ecstasy, possession of Percocet and possession of drug paraphernalia and taken to the Ocean County Jail as a result of the Hudson County warrant, Schroeck said. He is awaiting mandatory court appearances with the Ocean County and Hudson County Superior Courts.
