ELECTION 2015: Primary Voting Is Tuesday
Manchester has no local races but the Ocean County freeholder race has a contested Republican primary.

Tuesday is Primary Election Day throughout New Jersey. The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for voting.

There are no municipal races in Manchester this year but primary voters do have a contested Republican primary in the race for the two Ocean County Freeholder seats. The Republican candidates are:

Bartlett and Little are the incumbents.

Instructions on the county’s sample ballot note: “You are confined legally to a choice of candidates for nomination within your own Political Party. The machine is so adjusted as to comply with the law, and will not permit you to vote in the Primary of more than ONE Political Party.”
