Fire Damages Apartments Under Construction In Ocean County
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire at the site of The Paragon, the new apartment complex off New Prospect Road.
JACKSON, NJ — Authorities are investigating a two-alarm fire that destroyed an apartment building under construction in Jackson early Tuesday.
The fire was reported at 12:21 a.m. by a passerby who saw the fire at the site north of New Prospect and Larsen roads where the complex named The Paragon is being built, said Capt. Steve Laskiewicz of the Jackson Township Police Department.
Officers saw a building on the corner of the property had flames coming from all three floors, he said. Jersey Shore Fire Response captured the blaze on video that it shared to YouTube.
