Fire Hydrant Flushing Scheduled In Manchester

Fire hydrants throughout the township will be flushed starting in late September and continuing into November.

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the township beginning in late September.

The township's utilities department said the eastern and western service areas will be systematically flushing beginning Sept. 27 and the work is anticipated to continue through Nov. 30.

Each community will be notified when flushing begins in its area. Flushing will occur both day and night, hours will vary.
