Fire Knocks Out Power, Traffic Lights In Manchester: Police
Police said the fire happened at the JCP&L substation and it may be several hours before service is restored.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A fire at the Jersey Central Power and Light substation on Ridgeway Boulevard has knocked out electric service to the majority of Manchester on Sunday morning, Manchester police said.
Traffic lights all over town are out as well, police said.
Manchester police in a Nixle alert said the power and traffic lights may be out for several hours.

JCP&L reports there are 7,100 homes and businesses in Manchester out and all of Lakehurst is out as well.
