Police are warning motorists to be aware of unsafe conditions as they drive around town Monday.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township police are urging motorists to exercise caution due to flooding caused by Monday's heavy rain.
In a Nixle alert just before 4 p.m., the police department said there are hazardous road conditions because many streets are flooding.
The heavy rain also has caused flooding on the Garden State Parkway near Exit 81 that has resulted in an 11-mile backup on the parkway Monday evening.
