The Shore Conference high school football season kicked off in full force Friday night, but for Manchester it was a rough start, as the Hawks lost to Barnegat 26-7 in Class B South, according to the Shore Sports Network.
The Hawks scored on a 3-yard touchdown run by Kwaku Owusu in the second quarter, but it was all Barnegat after that.
