Get Information About ESL Student Resources At Manchester Schools' Meetings

The Manchester Title III ESL Parent Advisory Committee meetings offer info for families of students learning English as a second language.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Parents of Manchester students who are learning English as a second language are invited to meetings on Jan. 19 and 26 to learn about the Manchester Township Schools' ESL program.

The meetings are hosted by the Title III ESL Parent Advisory Committee and are an opportunity for families to learn about the Title III ESL Program, the community resources available to them, and how students progress in the program throughout the school year, the group said.

ESL teachers will be participating and providing information about the ACCESS test. That test is the assessment English Language Learners take in February and March. There will be information about learning expectations, online platforms students use in the classroom, and the content they are learning in the classroom.
