MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township will be using a new system for emergency notifications beginning June 1.
Manchester Township uses the system to make important notifications to the public, including emergency closings, road closures or detours, utility notifications and important weather notices or "other information that we need residents to be aware of in an emergency situation," officials said.
While Manchester has used Nixle for several years, it is moving to the Regroup mass notification system.
