How do you keep a child from being bullied -- or being a bully? By stopping bullying before it starts.

Learn how at a workshop on Bullying Prevention Strategies set for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, at Regional Day School, 890 Toms River Road, Jackson, NJ 08527.

The workshop will be presented by Nicole Pratt of SPAN (Statewide Parent Advocacy Network).

Bullying is a harmful action towards another student or any act that infringes on a student’s rights at school. It is important to know ways to prevent and respond to bullying in school. This presentation will discuss what schools are required to do under the law, including creating a positive environment for all students.
