Help Others Keep Warm; Donate Coats At Manchester Town Hall

The drive collected 350 coats last year, officials said.

For the third year, Manchester Township is working with Jersey Cares to college clean used or new coats for donation to those in need.

Coats are needed for men, women and kids, any and all sizes and styles. Snowsuits also are needed, especially for the kids.

Last year, almost 350 coats were collected, township employees said.

If you are cleaning out your closets, or have treated yourself to a new coat for the winter, or your kids have outgrown their coats, please think of dropping off the old ones at the bin located in the lobby at Town Hall.

Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday from now through Dec. 9.
