Officials from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst say artillery training will be conducted both during the day and at night

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst officials announced on the base’s Facebook page that there will be artillery training Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19-21.
The Golf and India Batteries 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment will conduct artillery firing and there will be day and night operations, the announcement said.
“This firing will cause ground shaking and considerable noise. It is important to note that noise from the ranges may travel farther during overcast weather conditions,“ it said.
