Hydrant Flushing For Spring Announced In Manchester

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Utilities Department will do its spring hydrant flushing starting in April, the township announced.
The hydrants will be flushed in April and May, officials said.
Each community will be notified when flushing begins in their area.

Hours will vary during the day as well as during the night, officials said.
When hydrants are being flushed, residents will experience a difference in pressure and discoloration. Running the cold water tap until the water clears will get rid of the discoloration.
