'I Do Not Tolerate Hate': Manchester Mayor Decries Antisemitic Attacks
"Manchester is a place where compassion, respect, and understanding prevail," Mayor Robert Arace said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Mayor Robert Arace issued a statement Friday urging residents to "unite against hate and intolerance" after a township man was charged with arson and bias intimidation in a string of attacks against Jewish residents.
Ron Carr, 34, is accused of spraypainting swastikas and other graffiti at 14 homes and setting fire to a home in Pine Lake Park overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said Friday. Carr specifically targeted Jewish residents, they said.
"I do not tolerate hate in any form, and I stand firmly against such abhorrent actions," Arace said in prepared statement. "I remain resolute in promoting unity and fostering an environment where all residents can thrive."
