If You're The Parent Of A Manchester Athlete, You Need To Bring Them To This Forum

Baseball's Todd Frazier, soccer star Tony Meola, former NFL stars Keith Elias and Ray Lucas, others talk sports, drugs at Pine Belt Arena

Todd Frazier and other area athletes will tell everyone how to play sports clean in a free event held by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.

The forum, called “Play It Clean” will be held Thursday, Jan. 15, at the Pine Belt Arena in Toms River from 6 to 8 p.m.

The event will be moderated by former NFL running back and Lacey native Keith Elias, and will include Todd Frazier of the Cincinnati Reds, MMA fighters and Toms River East wrestling star Frankie Edgar; Erin Cowley, U.S. Olympic basketball player; Tony Meola, former MLS goalkeeper and Ray Lucas, former Rutgers University and NFL quarterback.

They will discuss their experiences and journey through the world of collegiate and professional athletics.

They will address audience questions, speak candidly and discuss the danger that drugs can have on an athlete’s performance.
