It's National Pancake Day; Did You Get Your Free Flapjacks Yet?

IHOP is offering a free pancakes in return for a donation to the Children's Miracle Network. Get yours at two locations nearby.

Pancakes drizzled with syrup. They’re a great way to warm up on a cold winter day, especially one that promises to bring more snow, sleet and gunk later in the day.

Today, National Pancake Day, you can warm up with a free stack of pancakes at IHOP restaurants around the country, and in the process, you can do something even more heartwarming: Make a contribution to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Manchester residents have two locations to choose from -- at 941 Route 37 West, near Mule Road, and 178 Route 37 East, near Hooper Avenue -- to take advantage of the offer, which is for a short stack of buttermilk pancakes. It’s one stack per customer. The location near Mule Road is open until 10 p.m.; the location near Hooper Avenue is open 24 hours.

Since 2006, IHOP restaurants have raised almost $16 million to support charities in the communities in which they operate, the company says on its website. The goal this year is to raise $3.5 million.
