Joint Base Airman Encouraged Teens To Send Him Sex Videos, Is Sentenced

The airman, who was living at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, enticed teens to send him videos of sexual acts, authorities said.

TRENTON, NJ — A US Air Force airman who exchanged more than 600 sexually explicit messages with teens and preteens while living at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst has been sentenced to prison, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Christian Keilberg, 35, pleaded guilty on Feb. 10 to a charge of receiving child pornography before U.S. District Court Judge Georgette Castner in Trenton, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

On Wednesday he was sentenced to 121 months in federal prison — just over 10 years. The sentence also included 10 years of supervised release after he completes his prison sentence, federal authorities said.

Keilberg used online chat applications and social media to communicate with multiple children between the ages of 12 and 15, both in and outside of New Jersey, from November 2020 to November 2022, authorities said.

He exchanged sexually explicit messages with the teens and preteens and asked them to send him images and videos of themselves engaging in sexually explicit conduct, which they did, authorities said.
