Joint Base Airman Killed In New York Subway Accident: Base Officials

NEW YORK, NY — An airman assigned to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst has been killed in a New York City subway train accident, the base announced Monday.
The airman's name was not being released pending notification of next of kin, base officials said in a news release.
The airman was struck by a subway train on Sunday, the news release said. The incident is under investigation and base officials said they would release more details as they become available.
