The base said its scheduled training exercises were anticipated to produce abundant noise through Friday.

JOINT BASE McGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, NJ — Training exercises at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst on Thursday are sending noise across the county, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office said.
The training was scheduled on the base's noise calendar for February that was posted Jan. 31 on the base's Facebook page.
That schedule lists "abundant noise" through Friday, which can include live mortar training, "cratering munitions" and firing howitzers.
