Joint Base Training This Weekend For Longer Hours
The rumbling (or loud booms for those closer) will go on for a longer period; get tips on how to ease your pets' anxiety during the booms.

JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, NJ — It's that time of year, when training at the Joint Base sends rumbles through the area.
While those living in the area may be used to hearing the booms from mortars going off during the day, this weekend's training is going to be a little different.
Joint Base officials posted a notification on Facebook Friday that live fire mortar training will be going on all night, too, this time.

"If you tumble from your bed late at night from what sounds like 'sonic booms' -- Don't freak out!! Mortar live fire training is scheduled to take place between March 31, 2019 at 12 a.m. to April 1, 2019 at 12 a.m.," the post reads.
Training is frequent at the base, and officials note that low cloud cover can cause the noise to travel farther.
