Kindergarten Information Session Set For Manchester Schools
The Manchester Township Schools will host an information session for families whose children will be eligible for kindergarten this fall.
MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township School District will hold its annual Kinderprep information session for families planning to register children for kindergarten in September.
The Kinderprep session is set for 6 p.m. on March 3 at Ridgeway Elementary School.
Children who will be 5 years old by Oct. 1, 2026, are eligible for Manchester's kindergarten program.

The session will feature presentations focused on preparing children for kindergarten. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and greet Manchester Schools staff and principals. Tours of a kindergarten classroom will be provided, and information from community resource groups will be available.
Families can sign up for required kindergarten registration appointments during the session. Child-care will be available for children ages 3 and up during Kinderprep. Families planning to use on-site child-care are asked to RSVP by Feb. 25. You can RSVP online here.

For children currently enrolled in the district's Universal Preschool Program, an appointment is still necessary to recertify home residency to secure a kindergarten spot.
Kindergarten registration and mandatory screening appointments will become available for scheduling online at www.manchestertwp.org starting Friday, March 6.
