Lakehurst Man Charged In 55-Inch TV Theft: Police
Police say Jason Mayer of Lakehurst and Clifton Wells III of Bayville walked out of the store with the TV without paying for it.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River police have arrested two men in connection with a television theft from Walmart earlier this month.
Jason Mayer, 35, of Lakehurst, and Clifton Wells III, 36, of Bayville, were arrested as a result of tips police received after photos of one man were shared on social media and by news outlets, said Ralph Stocco, spokesman for the Toms River Police Department.
Mayer and Wells both have been charged with theft in the Jan. 11 incident, where a 55-inch Samsung TV was carried out of the Walmart without having been paid for, Stocco said.
