Lakehurst Police Arrest Brick Man On Drug And Weapons Charges

A 33-year-old Brick man was charged with drug and weapons offenses Friday because he allegedly had a machete and pocket knife in his pickup truck, police said.

He also allegedly had oxycodone pills and ciprofloxacn tablets, police said.

At 11:41 p.m. Friday, Keith Cuff was driving a 1999 Black Dodge pickup but was failing to maintain a lane at Route 70 and Rose Street, police said.

Cuff was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River after being charged and his bail was set at $25,000 with no 10 percent option.

Cuff also had a traffic warrant in the amount of $239 issued by the Mantoloking Municipal Court.

He was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a controlled dangerous susbtance, failure to maintain a lane and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in motor vehicle.
