Lakehurst's Ugly Holiday Sweater 5K Set For Saturday
The race raises money for student activities at Lakehurst Elementary School.
LAKEHURST, NJ — Break out your holiday sweaters and get ready to hit the streets of Lakehurst for the annual Ugly Holiday Sweater 5K on Saturday, Dec. 3.
The race starts and ends at Lakehurst Elementary School, 301 Union Ave., Lakehurst, with a kiddie dash set for 10 a.m. and the main race setting off at 10:15 a.m.
Entry fees are $25 for the 5K, and $5 for the kiddie dash. Online registration closes Thursday, but same-day registration will be available onsite at the school beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday. Check-in and T-shirt pickup for those who register ahead of time also begins at 9 a.m.

The proceeds from the race "is one of the most important fundraisers of the year for student activities," race organizers said.
