Last Chance: High School Sports Physicals This Week

Student athletes who want to participate in sports during the 2012-13 school year have two chances this week to complete a physical.

Free exams will be given in the nurse's office at  on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m., according to the district. 

The state mandates that physicals must be completed before students are allowed to participate in athletics. Further instructions and a physical form are available online and must be completed prior to the exam.

Students who choose to have a physical performed by their own doctor must submit the paperwork to school physician Dr. James Morales.
