As the nor'easter bore down on the Jersey Shore, residents have stepped outside to capture the impact.
MANCHESTER, NJ -- A foot of snow, 60-mile-per-hour wind gusts, flooding, power outages and a statewide state of emergency: those are the effects so far in the winter storm that began bearing down on New Jersey and Manchester overnight.
More than a foot of snow has fallen in Manchester so far, and and officials expect the snow to continue falling at a rate of three inches per hour throughout the day.
Residents hunkered down at home are sharing their photos of the storm’s impact, like this one Suzanne Hurler Rajcok captured of her kids playing in the snow.
