Letter to the Editor: Palmer Brings A Fresh Perspective for Manchester

Writer says Ken Palmer serves town on nonprofit board and through volunteer work

Dear Editor:

Ken Palmer is a candidate for Manchester Mayor in this November’s election.

Since November 2007, I have served alongside Ken on the Board of Directors of a local charitable nonprofit educational foundation. Having worked alongside Ken, I have found him to be open, honest, resourceful, and helpful in all of our endeavors. He has given generously of his time and expertise to both youth educational and athletic programs as well as volunteering at CARES in Whiting, providing legal guidance to our senior residents.

One of the most significant issues facing Manchester residents today is escalating taxes with minimal municipal services. As a local business owner, Ken knows how to run a business. Spending money we don’t have and mortgaging our futures has to end. To hold the line on taxes means to curtail spending. Ken has the ability and the know-how to get the job done.

I hope you will join me in supporting Ken Palmer for Mayor – Vote Column “G” on November 4.
