Wingler, Poss, Adkinson Lead Manchester BOE Race: Unofficial Results
Incumbent Laura Wingler, recently appointed Timothy Poss and Gloria Adkinson were in the lead for the three seats, unofficial results say.

MANCHESTER, NJ — The "Putting Kids First" slate of Laura Wingler, Timothy Poss and Gloria Adkinson was leading in the race for three seats on the Manchester Township Board of Education, according to unofficial vote totals.
The unofficial tallies published by the Ocean County Clerk's office on Tuesday night had Wingler as the top vote-getter, with 5,020 votes. Adkinson had 4,680 and Poss, who was appointed to the board earlier this fall when Ken Pate resigned, received 4,141 votes. Poss was holding an 81-vote lead over Gina Georgiano, who is an incumbent. Running with Georgiano were Samuel Carollo, who had 3,505 votes, and Bozen Czekalski, who had 3,003 votes, according to the unofficial results.

Craig Wallis was running unopposed for a one-year unexpired term on the Manchester Township Council. He received 6,756 votes, according to the unofficial tallies.
The results of the election do not become official until they are certified by the Ocean County Clerk around Nov. 22.
