Local Attorney Honored As 'Hometown Hero' For Charitable Work

Local attorney and Manchester resident, Kenneth Palmer, was among the distinguished honorees recognized recently by Hometown Heroes for his considerable charitable contributions to our community.

Mr. Palmer was honored at the organization's 4th Annual Gala and Awards Dinner at the Crystal Point Yacht Club recently for his pro bono representation of two women with legal concerns.

One client was a 34-year old unemployed woman with two minor children who was the victim of spousal abuse.  The other client was homeless, suffering with mental health issues and penniless, according to Hometown Heroes.

“Of the hundreds of cases I have handled, these are two of the cases I will always remember," Palmer said at the event. "I took these cases simply because I could help.”

Community service is nothing new to Ken Palmer. He serves as the President of the Manchester Township Educational Foundation (MTEF) and is active with the local Little League. An alumnus of Manchester Township High School, Ken maintains a law office in Lakehurst.
