LSD, Guns Seized In Manchester Drug Raid: Police

Three people were arrested during the raid, which happened after a six-week investigation, police said.

Manchester, NJ -- A quarter of a pound of marijuana, 165 doses of LSD and several guns were seized and three people were arrested after a six-week investigation into drug dealing at a Summit Park home, Manchester police said.

Shawn Moll, 27, of Neal Place, Manchester; Victoria Espinal, 19, of Housen Street, Manchester, and Kwasi Mayweather, 30, of River Avenue, Lakewood all are being held in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, Manchester Capt. Todd Malland said.

The three were arrested when officers from the Manchester Township Police Department Narcotics Enforcement Team, assisted by the township's Detective section and the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team executed a search warrant at a Neal Place home, Malland said.

Malland said the search uncovered evidence of LSD and marijuana distribution, along with marijuana and 165 doses of LSD, along with paraphernalia associated with the dist.ibution of marijuana and LSD

"In addition, multiple prohibited weapons and more than $1,000 in cash, believed to be proceeds of drug sales, were seized," he said.

Moll, Mayweather and Espinal all were charged with possession of and possession with intent to distribute LSD; possession of and possession with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of K2 (synthetic marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of prohibited weapons, he said.

Additionally, Mayweather was processed on two outstanding arrest warrants, one out of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and one out of Millstone Municipal Court, Malland said. The warrants are for unpaid child support, according to the Ocean County Corrections website.

Moll’s bail was set at $165,000, with no 10 percent option, while bail for both Mayweather and Espinal was on the charges in this case was set at $100,000, also with no 10 percent option. All three remained in the county jail as of Friday afternoon, according to the corrections website.

Mayweather is being without bond, however, according to the corrections website.

The investigation was led by the Manchester Narcotics Enforcement Team, assisted by officers from both the Manchester Police Department Investigations and Patrol Bureaus. Additionally, the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit assisted at the scene.
