Mail-in Ballot Deadline Approaches for November Election

Ballots must be received in clerk's office by Oct. 30

Tuesday, Oct. 30 is the last day for mail-in ballots to arrive at the Ocean County Clerk's office for the November election.

The ballots themselves are available at the county clerk's office, and also must be turned in there, too.

The county clerk's office Monday to Friday hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Voters who want to use mail-in ballots can stop by the election office to obtain their ballot. Normally you can request the ballot be mailed to you, but as the mail-in deadline approaches it is only available by stopping in the election office.

Registered voters do not need a reason to vote by mail in New Jersey.

You'll need to present identification and sign your name as it appears in the voter registry book, in order to apply for a mail-in ballot. For additional information on obtaining a mail-in ballot, contact the County Clerk's Election Office at (732) 929-2153.
