Man Accused Of Peeking Into Yards Arrested In Manchester: Police
Manchester police said the man had an outstanding warrant and tried to run from police, but they chased him down.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A man seen looking into the back yards of several Pine Lake Park homes was arrested Thursday morning after he tried to run, Manchester police said.
Ron Carr, 34, of Manchester, was charged with resisting arrest and taken to the Ocean County Jail, Manchester Lt. James Komsa said.
At 8:24 a.m. a caller told police a man in a red flannel shirt and red pants was looking in the back yards of homes in the area of 6th Avenue near Cumberland Boulevard, Komsa said.

Patrolman Joseph Reilly, Patrolman Kyle Rickvalsky, and Patrolman Connor Maliff responded and found a man fitting the description at the corner of Cumberland Boulevard and Broadway Boulevard, Komsa said.
When the man was identified as Carr, police learned he had an arrest warrant on a criminal mischief charge. When the officers told Carr about the warrant, he tried to run, Komsa said.

After a brief chase and struggle, Carr was arrested and charged with fourth-degree resisting arrest (by flight), Komsa said.
Carr was being held at the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
