Man Sought In Home Safe Burglary In Manchester; Two Others Charged, Police Say
Breaking: The trio broke into a home and stole a safe containing cash and jewelry, along with other items, police say.

MANCHESTER, NJ — Two people have been arrested and Manchester police are seeking the public's help in locating a third person they say stole a safe containing money and jewelry from a Manchester home.
Mia Dentico, 49, of Seaside Park, and Joseph Comiso, 23, of Toms River, both have been charged with burglary and theft after a three-week investigation into the break-in at a home in the Whitney Estates section, Manchester Capt. Todd Malland said.
The third person, Mohamed Olivo, 26, of the Bronx, New York, is still being sought and has been added to the township's list of wanted persons, Malland said. Olivo also has been charged with burglary and theft, Malland said.

Malland said a three-week investigation led police to charge the trio. They are accused of breaking into the home in Whitney Estates on Nov. 20 and stealing a safe that contained cash and valuable jewelry, he said.
Police quickly developed potential investigative leads, which led to the discovery of the safe, found partially submerged in nearby Pine Lake, after an attempt by the suspects to conceal their actions, Malland said.

Officers were able to recover some of the victim’s jewelry along with irreplaceable sentimental items from the safe, he said.
Further investigation by Detective David Fusaro led to the identification of Dentico, Malland said, and when she was located, additional property belonging to the victim was recovered, he said.
Malland said the information uncovered during the investigation, including through numerous interviews, led to the charging of Dentico, Comiso, and Olivo/
Dentico, was taken to the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, with bail set at $10,000, Malland said.
Comiso and Olivo, realizing that their arrests were imminent, fled to New York State; he said. Comiso later returned to the Seaside Heights area and a tip led Seaside Heights Police arresting Comiso at a local hotel, Malland said. Comiso was taken to the jail with bail set at $15,000.
Because Olivo’s whereabouts are not currently known, he has been entered as a New Jersey wanted person, Malland said.
Anyone with information about Olivo's whereabouts is asked to contact Manchester Township Police at 732-657-6111. Information is kept confidential.
