A Delaware man has been arrested and charged in the stabbing of two people during a fight that occurred just down the road from Six Flags Great Adventure on Saturday evening, police said.

Jackson police responded to a parking lot at 571 Monmouth Road, not far from the amusement park, and found a 35-year-old woman with a wound to her arm and a teenage boy who had multiple stab wounds to his torso and back, Jackson Capt. Steven Laskiewicz said. Both were treated at the scene and then flown by helicopter to an area hospital for treatment, he said.

Police officers investigating the incident found the suspected weapon used in the incident in a wooded area a short distance away from the scene, Laskiewicz said.
