Manchester Alum Seeks Volunteers For Fundraiser To Honor Daughter

A Manchester alumnus lost her 5-year-old daughter to cancer. A fundraiser aims to help other families of children with cancer.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A Manchester Township High School alumnus is seeking the community's help in with a fundraiser she is partnering with to support families of children with cancer.

Lauren Hale Scalese, a 2003 graduate, lost her 5-year-old daughter to cancer over the summer, a notice from the Manchester Schools said.

Lauren is working with the Ashley Lauren Foundation for the Charlotte Joy Touch-A-Truck Festival on Saturday, Oct. 7. It will be from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the East Freehold Showgrounds in Freehold Township.
