UPDATE: Missing Puppy Buster Found In Manchester

The puppy was located not far from where tracking dogs had followed his scent previously, searchers said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A puppy that had been missing in Manchester Township for a few days has been found.

Matt Geissinger of the Lost Dogs of Ocean County Facebook page said Buster, the 4-month-old male Boston terrier that had been missing from the 1300 block of Eighth Avenue in the Pine Lake Park section was found Monday.

"The puppy, Buster has been located and our volunteer Morgan Petito is on her way there now to recover the Pup with the owner right at 1300 8th Ave," Geissinger said in an update by email.

Geissinger on Sunday said tracking dogs from H-K9 Search & Rescue Lost Dog Recovery Team had followed the puppy's scent a couple of blocks but no one had reported seeing the puppy. The puppy was found Monday just down the road from its home.
