Manchester High Students Invite Veterans To Ceremony

The Veterans Day ceremony is set for the day after the holiday to give veterans the opportunity to attend mutiple events.

Local veterans have been invited to participate in the 12th annual Manchester Township High School Veterans Recognition Ceremony, set to mark Veterans Day in the school district.

The service is set for 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, at Manchester Township High School. It is set for the day after the official federal holiday to avoid conflicts with other Veterans Day event.

β€œThis way, our veterans do not have to choose between our ceremony and being recognized someplace else,” said Jill O’Cone, the ceremony organizer.
