Manchester Man Charged With Dealing Meth After Probe: Prosecutor
The charges come after an investigation into distribution of the drug in the area, the prosecutor's office said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A Manchester Township man has been charged with distributing methamphetamine in the Southern Ocean County area after an investigation that ended in an arrest at a strip mall, Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato said Tuesday.
David Dixon, 58, of Circle Drive in Manchester, was arrested Friday and 75 grams of methamphetamine seized after his car was found at a strip mall in Lacey Township, said Al Della Fave, spokesman for the prosecutor's office.
Dixon's arrest was the culmination of an investigation by detectives from the Southern Enforcement Unit of the prosecutor's Special Operations Group, along with members of the Lacey Township Police Narcotics Unit and the Manchester Township Police Narcotics Unit, Della Fave said.

The investigation centered on the distribution of methamphetamin in the area, he said. Dixon was identified as allegedly using a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe to store and distribute the meth, he said.
Police and detectives pulled over the 2007 blue Hyundai on Friday with Dixon in the car; a search of the car turned up 75 grams of meth, Della Fave said. The car was seized pending forfeiture proceedings, he said.

Dixon was charged with possession of CDS (methamphetamine) and possession of CDS (methamphetamine) over one-half ounce with intent to distribute. He was taken to the Ocean County Jail pending a future court date and remained in the jail as of Tuesday afternoon.
