Manchester Man Charged In Toms River Bust: Police

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Manchester Township man is facing heroin and weapons charges after he was arrested in Toms River following an investigation, Toms River police said.
William Needham, 34, of Manchester, was arrested Aug. 3 following a monthlong investigation into heroin distribution in Toms River and Manchester that involved the Toms River Special Enforcement Team and Manchester Narcotics Enforcement Team.
Police pulled over his Ford F-350 pickup and searched it, seizing 17 bricks — 850 wax folds — and $1,876 in cash.

He was charged with possession of heroin and second-degree possession with the intent to distribute heroin, and Needham's Ford F-350 was seized pending forfeiture, police said.
The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Strike Force assisted with the arrest, police said. Needham was taken to the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
