Manchester Man Stole Tip Money At Restaurant Register: Police
The 85-year-old paid for his dinner with a credit card, then grabbed the cash as he was leaving, police said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — An 85-year-old Manchester man has been charged with theft, accused of taking cash from the tip jar at a restaurant Saturday evening, police said.
Nicholas R. Domenick, 85, of Manchester, was charged with theft and released pending court, Manchester Lt. Vincent Manco said.
Police were called to Cafe Napoli restaurant in the Manchester Plaza Shopping Center shortly before 7 p.m. on Saturday, Manco said. An employee of the restaurant told Patrolmen Patrick Mabie and Kyle Rickvalsky that a patron paid for his dinner with a credit card, then grabbed the cash out of the tip jar, which was next to the cash register, Manco said.

Domenick, who was identifed through the credit card transaction, was seen on the restaurant's surveillance video taking the cash, which amounted to between $20 and $30, Manco said.
Domenick was subsequently arrested, charged with theft and released pending court.
